Josh Lane: Life Behind Bars

The Golden Age

The Golden Age

Much like nature, at this time of year the road cycling scene is in a state of pre-bloom. It's not quite spring but we all know it's just around the corner, and with spring comes the start of the race season!

I've noticed a few subtle changes at look mum no hands! recently that confirm this. Alongside the year-round commuters and hobby cyclists gracing us with their bikes we are starting to get the chiselled, fat-stripped club riders wheeling in their F1-style race machines for their preseason pimping sessions. Power meters are going on new bikes, tubs are getting...

Lost and Found

Lost and Found

Hey fellow cyclists, my name is Josh Lane and I'm as passionate about bikes as you are!

I started riding and racing mountain bikes at 7 years old, following in my downhill-racing dad's footsteps (quite literally, as he would make me follow him up some serious hills and mountains in search of downhill stoke!) and have been hooked on all things cycling ever since.

I have raced downhill, 4x, cx and xc, competed in dirt jump and slope style events, free ridden, commuted, couriered, BMXed and TTed. Alongside this I have been a professional mechanic, making sure people's bikes are...
